I’ve been more than a little bit obsessed with Revolutionary Girl Utena ever since bingeing the show while recovering from the flu, then catching the movie for the theatrical release this Pride month. In honor of that, here’s a new talent to let you pull swords out of the chests of your lovers and friends!

Pierced by the World’s Hatred

Requirement: your identity or struggle trait must mention a marginalized group that you are a part of.

Your spark is pierced by the metaphysical swords of the world’s hatred for your kind. When you or someone you care about is in trouble, you can lend one of those swords to them by pulling it out of their chest or letting them pull it out of yours.

These swords count as magical one-handed swords, and grant one combat talent in the same way that other magical weapons do. Each person you care about can choose a different talent for their own sword, but they may not change which talent their sword grants unless they take that talent themself later.

You may only lend out one sword at a time, and it disappears when the immediate danger has ended. Removing swords takes a few seconds, giving +2 disadvantage on any time-sensitive test where the sword must be summoned.
